Meet Dr. Angela deFabrique-Abiusi

Dr. Angela B. deFabrique-Abiusi received her BS in Biology and Primate Anthropology from the University of Miami. She received her DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts. She graduated receiving Magna Cum Laude honors with a Doctor of Dental Medicine. While at Tufts, she served as the President of the Hispanic Student Dental Association. Other honors include Omicron Kappa Upsilon honor society membership, the American Association of Oral Pathology Award, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Award, Merit Scholarship, and Colgate Palmolive Award of Distinction.

Dr. Angela B. deFabrique-Abiusi is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Florida Association of Orthodontists and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Angela B. deFabrique-Abiusi is a board certified orthodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

“Dr. Angela” is excited to have recently accepted the role of Advisory Board Chairperson for Best Buddies of Palm Beach. Also a member of Smiles Change Lives, an organization which provides low cost orthodontic care to deserving underprivileged children. Dr. Angela B. deFabrique-Abiusi is involved in furthering her knowledge through continuing education courses. She is a firm believer that orthodontics involves far more than just straightening teeth. Dr. Angela B. deFabrique-Abiusi evaluates the entire face when determining appropriate treatment, so that in addition to producing a beautiful smile, the best possible facial balance and harmony can be obtained.

Dr. Angela B. deFabrique-Abiusi and her family spend time helping others at the Hogar Maria Foundation in Nicaragua. “It is so rewarding and such a joy to help. We like it so much, we encouarge our other friends to join us to help such wonderful people. Once they go and help, they are dedicated to helping.”
